Lorraine Sherman is Foreign Service Officer at USAID, a leading U.S. government agency that works to end extreme global poverty and enable resilient, democratic societies to realize their potential. Througout her career, she has received the Army Commendation Medal, Kosovo Campaign Medal, NATO Medal, and the Overseas Service Medal. Lorraine graduated with a JD from Boston University School of Law; she received her Masters degree in Military Art and Science from the U.S. Army Command and General Staff College: School of Advanced Military Studies and her Bachelor of Arts degree from Rutgers. She is on the Board of Governors for the American Foreign Service Association (AFSA.)
