Prior to this he worked as an economist and foreign currency dealer for the Reserve Bank of Australia and JP Morgan (London). Damione is winner of the '40 under 40' business excellence award and the Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award. Damione's commitment as an executive committee member of the Telethon Adventurers stems from recognizing that "life is a gift" and should not be taken for granted; with particular acknowledgment of his two, young healthy boys and beautiful wife.
