Eduardo Rivero received his Master's in Public Policy at Harvard University in 1986. He then went onto spend a very successful period of 10 years in Puerto Rican Government where he worked at The Economic Development Administration of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico (Fomento). Then he became the President of the Puerto Rico Public Broadcasting Corporation. Since then Eduardo has become a very successful serial Entrepreneur. Eduardo is now the President/Owner of Milestone Communications (www.milestoneeventspr.com) which provides Advertising, Events and Digital Signage services. He also has a company known as Star Concierge Hub (www.starhealthcarepuertorico.com) which is a private one-of- a-kind service provider that adds value to the medical traveler’s experience by providing coordination of medical tourism services and logistics. Nadiuska Lopez Moreno de Abood was always bound to be in the law profession. She was always surrounded by lawyers through her friends and family, therefore, being a lawyer came very natural. Nadiuska received her Law Degree from the Universidad de Santa Maria Antigua in 1996. She became a licensed lawyer a month later in 1997 in Panama. Warrington's background has made it possible for him to fulfill different roles. He currently is working for the government of the Virgin Islands to manage projects that keep the environment healthy and clean and mediating situations when required. For example, two examples would be mediating mold problems and issues with landfills. He also teaches Science and math lab at the University of US Virgin Islands. He is working to prepare freshman students to fully study at a University level. Earlier in his life, Warrington had wanted to attend medical school, but financial resources prevented that pursuit and he spent time working in the police force as a stepping stone as he searched for alternatives. He began to change direction when he became involved with forensic sciences. Eventually, he became a vascular physician's assistant. Desiring a change from his last profession, Warrington wanted to be able to work in the environmental area. He still does some consultation in medicine and expects to continue in the health care field in all its modalities. Warrington attributes his success to his faith in God, without whom without nothing he feels can happen He seeks God's guidance before every new venture and considers himself to be a servant of God. Prior to retirement, Tamar Clarke worked in the cataloging department in the National Library of Medicine in Pittsburgh. The result is less pressure on the teacher who can concentrate more on planning the lesson creating a better classroom experience for students and teacher. Ulla has taught her method nationally to individual teachers and to groups at the school sites. Her plan is to expand Mind Opener and to make more teachers aware of her methods. She hopes to have a representative in each county to assist entire school systems. She has sacrificed for this expected expansion by forgoing pay from her company. Ulla attributes her success to her experiences in the school of life where she goes through all experiences without trying to avoid any unpleasant experiences. Mary Lane Wright is a retired teacher and reading specialist who represents the alumnae of both Virginia State University (Masters program) and North Georgia State (undergraduate degree). Her husband was active military service and she taught military children in the Department of Defense Education program. She worked for several years in municipal government as a civil servant; but left the service in order to teach. Mary could have followed her husband and maintained a civil service position but she loves children and saw that the children in the military education program really needed good, dedicated teachers particularly in the early grades. Mary is a retiree now but full of dynamism and energy who is very active in her church and civic organizations like the Masons and The Pearl foundation. She enjoyed a very successful and satisfying teaching career and says her key to it all was taking advantage of opportunities presented to her. She is very proud of the difference she made as a teacher. She holds the time she had to "retain" a student over a year as her greatest professional achievement because the consent of the parents were required and was given on the condition she serve as the child's teacher. In the next five years, Mary plans to continue to stay involved in her community; but plans to move out of leadership roles and mentor the next generation that will serve in her place. Carlos Federico Pardo Angulo graduated from high school in Costa Rica. His goal was to study architecture but in Costa Rica, Architecture was not offered by the Universities in Costa Rica, so Carlos decided to pursue a course in the United states at Louisiana State University where he obtained a Bachelors degree. After Returning to Costa Rica, Carlos continued to pursue his studies in Costa Rica and Received his Master's Degree in business administration. He started a business with his expertise in the area of design and structure, called; Construcciones Contempo, a company working throughout Costa Rica to build homes, churches, and hotels. Carlos spent two years influencing public policy in his two years as a politician. Although Carlos has done architectural work throughout Costa Rica, Mexico, and the United States, he has not stopped learning and teaching. His years at Louisiana State University contributed to the success he has achieved. The biggest challenge that Carlos has faced was building his own house, it was a challenge to develop the small home on the beach of Costa Rica. In the upcoming years, Carlos wishes to begin writing to share his experiences and methods with people all around the world to influence growth and change in the professional industry.
