Biography

Jerry Browder credits his time at Northeastern State University in helping to shape him into the man he is today. While at Northeastern State University, Jerry received his Bachelor's degree in Biology and Physical Education, Jerry was a Defensive Back Linebacker on the Football Team. Jerry grew up in Texas has always been a lover of sports, the outdoors; world history and construction. Jerry spent most of his 35 year career working the Pipeline for Houston Contracting company where he was assigned to work projects such as in Alaska, New Orleans, Texas, Nigeria and in Iraq to name a few. During his career, Jerry held positions as an Assistant Superintendent and Supervisor as well as working the line. He worked and over-seed Trenching Crews, Lowering Crews comprised of people from 17 different nations. For example, Jerry evaluated the pipeline quality control with hydraulic water tests for flow assurance and line integrity. A man who eschews the spotlight Jerry supports a number of non-profit organizations and causes. However, as Jerry says he does so quietly with the goal of doing something to benefit people. Semi-retired, Jerry owns and runs a cattle farm as well as acts as a consultant on Pipeline issues.
