Biography

Francisco Javier Johnson is a distinguished and accomplished professional with over 20 years of experience in business, finance and construction. He received his Masters in Business Administration from Tecnológico de Monterrey and prior to this he received his Bachelor's of Science from the University of Arizona. During his time at the university, Francisco was very active on the campus participating in several activities throughout his undergraduate career including being President of the Mexican Student Association, a fraternity brother of Omega Delta Psi, Associate Director at the International Student Association and participated in the Conversation Club. Upon graduating from the university in 1994, Francisco went on to obtain his MBA, during this time he began working in Financial Analysis. Professionally speaking Francisco is currently working with Desarrollos y Servicios EJE SA de CV as the Director of Operations and has been with the company for over 4 years. The company focuses in construction and infrastructure primarily in mining, government and roads. Francisco's role with the company aside from being one of the partners is supervising daily operations, handling finances, budgets, transports, and subcontracting. In the next three to five years Francisco is looking forward to expanding his business activities in the mining sector and exploring the marketing of minerals. Francisco attributes his professional success much toward to the education and development he received attending the University of Arizona, noting that the campus inclusive environment provided a place to learn, explore and grow his leadership skills. In joining the WANA he would like to network with professionals from around the world and most importantly connect with those from his university.
