Biography

Ole has over 31 years of experience in English and American Studies. Ole received his Bachelor of English and History graduating in 1969. Ole then received a Double Master degree in English from Oslo University graduating in 1971 and the 2nd in American Studies from the University of Minnesota graduating in 1974. He then furthered his career and received his PHD in American Studies again from the University of Minnesota graduating in 1978. Ole was also involved in such Fraternities including Phi Kappa Phi. Ole activities include but are not limited to President of the Nordic Association for American Studies, Secretary General, and The European Association for American Studies, and, The U. of Belgrade, Serbia Advisor. Ole is involved in 3 area of study the linguistics, English, and Background Disciplinary system. Ole started his career as a High School Teacher in 1979 and then switched to American Civilization and Politics to show the history not just the language to students. Ole also founded the North American Area Studies along with his contribution for the Civilization Studies. He has been involved in professional activities including American Historians and Journal of American History. Ole was a Fighter Pilot and then flew as an instructor. Currently Ole lectures at Libraries about American Civilization Studies.
