Biography
Raquel T. Queiroz has been having a very successful career at IBAMA (Brazilian Institute of Environment and Renewable Natural Resources) for the past 12 years. She has been an Environmental Analyst there since 2005, working closely with the president of the Institute in protecting the environment. She is engaged with Environmental Education, Environmental Crimes and Intelligence. She is well known for her passion for what she does and has been taking care of the Environment in projects from her earlier years at school. She wrote The Role of Law Enforcement in the Decrease of Deforestation in the Brazilian Amazon at Kings College, which was awarded the 2011 Olton Ltd Dissertation Award. Her vision for the future is to continue to create and enforce processes to stop environmental crimes and protect the Environment. She looks forward to networking and collaborating with others.
