Virginia Andrade Martino was a General Consultant for the Directory Board of Ivan Bohman, a leader in the marketing of steel, welding, tools, machinery, agricultural equipment and other products. With over 25 years of experience in the structural engineering, commercial and manufacturing sectors in the steel construction area, working at Ipac Duferco Group, the most important steel company in Ecuador and Duferco as one of the most worldwide recognized steel traders in the world; she is also a visionary entrepreneur and keen business strategist.  She is now the Founder CEO in ControlIQ (www.controliq.com.ec), a technology innovative application and software developer company.

After earning a Master of Science degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on Grade Structural Seismic Analysis and Design of Structures at the University of Texas at Austin, Virginia quickly established herself as a rising talent of the civil and industrial engineering sector. She is highly skilled in strategic planning, business development, negotiation and analysis, and is also owning and managing an innovative and creative software, hardware and IOT developer company.

In addition to her consultant work, Virginia is a real estate investor an entrepreneur. She recently launched the first parking mobile application of its kind in Ecuador, and credits her extensive travel and educational opportunities to being key in her success.

A resident of Guayaquil, Ecuador, Virginia speaks fluent English, German and Spanish. Outside of her professional endeavors, she enjoys jogging, cycling, travelling, music and reading.
