Robert (Bud) Synhorst is a natural leader and has been a very successful Executive Director in various roles for over 20 years. Since December 2016, he has held the role of Executive Director of Alpaca Owners Association, Inc. Prior to Alpaca, Robert was the Nebraska Republican Party's Executive director for three and a half years. He is well known for his ability to engage in high profile relationships where he has been able to raise millions in donations for various causes whether it be political, non-profit, or educational.

Robert is a visionary who has the ability to see the big picture and with an analytical mindset. He holds a Masters in Education Administration from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln, and a Bachelor’s in Business Administration from the University of Nebraska at Kearney. He is a Member of the Rotary Club International, Lincoln Chapter, the United States Global Leadership Coalition, and the National Pedigree Livestock Council. In his spare time, he enjoys hunting, fishing, and a round of golf. He resides in Lincoln, Nebraska.
