With economic turmoil hitting her in 2015, Laura Cánepa was in need of something to keep her moving and providing means in making a difference in her homeland of Uruguay. Laura was fortunate enough to find a position at a law firm where she learnt the details around relocation and immigration in Uruguay. An International Affairs professional with an extensive career in the Travel Industry, Laura saw an opportunity to combine both her love for international connections and her new acquired knowledge. She decided to take on the Entrepreneur road and founded Mobility LC. Mobility LC specializes in Immigration, Relocation and Residency in Uruguay. The focus is on providing means for international business and new residents to settle in Uruguay. Some services offered are assistance with relocation, obtaining the Uruguayan ID card, medical insurance coverage, obtaining work permits for newly arrived companies, uruguayan citizenship for expats, a second passport, real estate and investment opportunities working hand in hand with official government offices to speed up all processes, business help in starting or opening a business or franchise in Uruguay, reliable and trustful contacts with local lawyers as well as translation services. Laura is passionate about opening doors and helping to make the transition as simple as possible as moving to any new land is not an easy one or even find trusful business partners in a country far away from home. In the coming years, Laura plans to continue to assist residents and businesses settle in Uruguay. "This is just the beginning" she says, "there's much more than can and will be done." Laura is also a passionate actress. She has worked in many different TV Commercials for different countries such as Canada, Mexico, South and Central America and has worked with many Directors and Producers from different parts of the globe. Her focus on both careers has proved her dedication and persistence which she spreads with enthousiasm every day.
