Worldwide Association of Notable Alumni Recognizes Robert Modrall

Robert Modrall is serves on the Selection Committee of the World of Children Award. Previously he was a Research Assistant for the Henry M. Jackson Foundation for the Advancement of Military Medicine. Specializing in advancing military medical research, serving military, medical, academic, and government clients by administering, managing and supporting preeminent scientific programs that benefit members of the armed forces and civilians alike.

Prior to the Henry M. Jackson Foundation, Robert worked with the SOS Children's Villages-USA, a nonprofit organization based in Washington, DC, helping to raise funds for SOS Children's Villages International. These funds go to over 500 SOS villages in 133 countries around the world to provide permanent, loving homes for orphaned or abandoned children. Each home is part of a village, and each child has a loving mother -- often for the first time in his or her life. Beyond creating and sustaining villages, Robert also supports emergency relief, schools, social programs and medical facilities worldwide.

He holds a Master of Business Administration in Global Studies and Non-profit Management from the American Public University System, a Certificate in International Development from Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies, and certificate in Global Leadership from the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration. He is an affiliate of the Henry M. Jackson Foundation for the Advancement of Military Medicine, the Intercollegiate Studies Institute, the Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity, and founded a Campus Chapter to advocate and fundraise for Room to Read at American Public University System. He is also a recipient of the Presidential Call to Service Lifetime Achievement Award from the Corporation for National and Community Service. Mr. Modrall has published articles with Liberty University, Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity International, and in the United States Supreme Court Journal.
