Biography

Mr. Stuart Stanley has been the Director of Video Production & Digital Media for New Caney ISD for 2 years and spent 4 years before at Carthage ISD as Director of Communication. At the school district level, Stuart's broadcasting program takes 4 teachers and 30 of the top broadcast students and hones their skills at creating videos, advertisments and PSA's for district websites and the nations largest high school video scoreboard of more than 1400 square feet in size. The students are paid professionals who operate state of the art equipment and learn skills that will take them to the college level and beyond. Stuart continues the family lineage since both his parents were in academia. Stuart still enjoys the family's Texas Century Ranch where he was raised. It has been in the family since the 1870's. Prior to branching into education, Stuart was an award winning TV News Anchor and Reporter for 13 years with stints at KTRK- 13 ABC, WAAY-TV 31 (ABC affiliate) and KLSB. Stuart reported and was witness to some of America's largest historical events such as: the Oklahoma City Bombing and trial of Timothy McVeigh, the Waco siege, the Olympic Bombing in Atlanta and the death of Tejano singer, Selena. Stuart is booked as the keynote speaker at the 2016 "Student Broadcast Symposium" along with the expected publication of his course book on modern broadcast. Stuart also uses his voice talents in sales, safety and history videos that he also produces. Stuart looks forward to getting his masters degree with an emphasis in public relations and continuing to teach a new generation of up and coming journalists from the high school and college level.
