John L. Gaeta is an accomplished operations management professional with over 30 years of experience in the utilities industry. For the past 17 years, he has served as Shift Supervisor at Muscatine Power & Water, the largest Municipal Utility in Iowa. At MP&W, John's key responsibilities involve overseeing operations, safety training, project management and some scheduling. His area of expertise is operations and team leadership. John graduated with a Bachelor's in Business Management from Iowa Wesleyan University in 2007. Since IWU was conveniently located in Muscatine, he chose to attend there for his undergraduate degree, and enjoyed their strong programs, as well. Going forward, John wants to continue thriving in his current role and estimates that he'll reach retirement in about 4 to 5 years. He is keen to network, gain exposure and enhance his personal brand. The key to his success has always been getting along with people at all levels, and he believes that developing strong interpersonal relations with others makes you successful in every industry and profession. When he's not working, John enjoys sitting by the fire while river camping and spending time with his dog, a Welsh Terrier with a hilarious personality. He also supports The United Way.
