BIOGRAPHY

Dr. Windy Moncherry received his highest level of education with a Doctorate in Educational Studies from The University of Sheffield in 2010. Previously, he received his Masters Degree in Educational Leadership and Administration from The University of Leicester in 2005. Currently, Dr. Moncherry's full time employment is with Vieux Fort Technical Secondary School as a teacher since 0ctober 2006. Dr. Moncherry also works as an E-Tutor/Course Writer/Course Coordinator for The University of the West Indies Open Campus for the past 7 years. Dr. Windy Moncherry holds the prestigious position of Justice of Peace for The State of Saint Lucia. He is a Councillor for the local government. Dr. Moncherrry started his career teaching primary school. Over the years, he saw that by teaching he could make a contribution to help those in poverty and help those in society who could not afford an education. In the next 3-5 years, Mr. Moncherry would like to be Minister of Education and become more involved in politics. Dr. Moncherry contributes the key to his success with having a wonderful support system of family and friends. He also believes in humility, sincerity, fairness, and honesty. One of his greatest professional accomplishments or achievements is getting to serve on the credit council as The President of Board of Directors. In his spare time, Dr. Moncherry enjoys reading and gardening. Additionally, he is involved in many charitable organizations which includes The Lions Club and a Church Youth Organization.
