Biography

Peter J. Servidio graduated with his Associates degree in humanites from Albertus Magnus College (New Haven, CT), class of 2002, following that Peter received a Bachelor’s Degree in educational leadership, and a Masters in educational leadership from St. Joseph's College in Standish, Maine. He is currently studying for his Ed.D in educational leadership and management through St. Thomas University in Miami Gardens, Florida. Peter was active while attending Albertus having played on the soccer team as well as being a member of the residential life program. Professionally speaking, Peter is currently the Coordinator of Distance Learning and a 5th Grade Teacher with the Saint-Dominic Academy; as well as being the founder of Innovations Educational Consulting Services . Peter has been in his field for over 15 years and growing. Peter history consists of teaching 5th through 12th grade English, along with having been a Dean of Students l for 9 years, helping kids learn and grow,. As a Founder of Innovations Educational Consulting Services, Peter's main role is to consult with schools to ensure they are aware of and using best practices in both education and professional development. Peter was prompted to get involved in this profession as someone very special to him by the name of G. Michael Welch. Welch had seen something in Peter and suggested he get into the field. Once Peter got involved he realized he had a passion for education and naturally progressed and his passion has stayed with him. Peter became an expert in blended and online learning. In the next few years Peter plans to first finish his Ed.D as well as, continue to grow and develop; but most importantly, he wishes continue to make a difference in education. Peter sees himself as a principal one day soon, and eventually as as superintendent At this stage in Peter's career networking is key and very important to him, having the ability to connect and collaborate with other like minded professionals, share different ideas,and areas of expertise. Peter bases his success thus far on networking and his connections, in addition his consistency and passion.
