John C. Young is the President and founder of MyMentorAdvisor.com, an online community where people can connect with individuals who already have the experience and information they seek, the time to share it, and a strong desire to pass it on. Recognizing a desire among the baby boomer community to pass on their expertise and for new retirees to find a sense of purpose and stewardship, John launched the company to help connect baby boomers with millennials seeking guidance and growth in their professional and/or personal lives.

 After earning a bachelor’s degree in Counseling from the University of Montevallo, John went on to complete a master’s degree in Community Counseling from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. For 26 years, he served in several different positions at Covidien, where he oversaw surgical device sales and management.

 John resides in Arvada, Colorado and his mission is that MyMentorAdvisor.com is able to connect people across global and age gap barriers. He has been featured for his work in Forbes.com and Next Ave. Outside of his professional endeavors; he enjoys reading, gardening and spending time with his children and grandchildren.
