Dr. Patricia Castellanos is the Founder and CEO of the Centro de Audición (CEDAF), a foundation based in Guatemala that is dedicated to providing audiological services. Established as a private practice in 1990, Centro de Audicion has grown to serve nationwide and also provide aid in El Salvador and Nicaragua. In her role, Patricia oversees the management of every aspect of the business, helping patients, overseeing finance, and monitoring the quality of service and customer care at the clinic.

In 2009, Patricia started the Fundación Sonrisas que Escuchan (Smiles that Listen Foundation), in order to serve to people who cannot afford audiological care and devices care on their own.

After earning a master’s degree in Education of the Hearing Impaired from Gaudellet University, Patricia went on to complete her PhD in Audiology from the University of Florida EEUU. She is a member of Global Audiology, Pan American Society of Audiology, and the ENT Association of Guatemala. Her work has been published in "Audiology without Borders," Audiology in Developing Countries (CH. 10), and featured in the 2015 ENT NEWS.

Patricia was introduced to the field during a study abroad program, and immediately knew she had found her passion. She finds great reward in improving quality of life across all socioeconomic backgrounds, empowering them with the gift of hearing.
